This comfortable and cozy beach house will be your favorite little gem for your stay here in San Diego every year! The space is a modern, second story 2 bed 2 bath condo just 10 yards from the beach. It shares a building with 8 total units situated on the Strandway and Island Court in Mission Beach.

The Space

This home is furnished with the things you'll need to enjoy a Mission Beach vacation. Entry level of the home has a spacious and open living and dining area with dining table, futon couch (condo sleeps 6), and a flat screen TV mounted above the fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with cooking and eating essentials. Seating includes a breakfast bar plus dining table for 4. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a tub. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds. Two new heating and air conditioning units were added in the summer of 2018 to keep the entire condo comfortable during your stay. 

LIVING AREAS: This nice and cozy 850 square foot, two bedroom, two bathroom, second floor condo is located steps from Mission Beach, shops, restaurants, Belmont Park & BeachHouse. The condo is casual and spacious with the living, dining and open kitchen areas combined.

KITCHEN & DINING: The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and appliances to make you feel right at home when you're cooking. Gas stove, dishwasher and stainless-stell refrigerator. The condo is equipped with basic kitchen essentials: coffee maker, toaster and pots and pans. A few basic pantry items such as salt and pepper are provided.

BEDROOMS & BATHS: There are two casual bedrooms that come with basic essentials. They are both located upstairs on the third floor of the building and each include a queen size bed (sleeps 2 adults), a nightstand and a reading lamp. There is a shared full bathroom in the hallway between the two bedrooms. The master bedroom faces the Island Court side of the building and has an ocean view from the windo. Both bedrooms have built in closets with plenty of room to hang clothes for a short stay. There is one queen sized mattress in the pull-out couch for additional sleeping accommodations (condo sleeps 6 adults).

OUTDOOR AREAS: There is a shared common patio area off the court-side guest bedroom. The building also has a shared rooftop deck with spectacular panoramic views of Mission Beach, the Giant Dipper roller coaster and Mission Bay.

EXTRA AMENITIES & DETAILS: A TV in the living room equipped with cable. WiFi is also available. Linens and towels are provided for your stay and there are extras in the hall closet. If you need to do laundry, there are shared washer and dryer units in the condo on the main floor underneath the stairs.

GARAGE & EXTRA PARKING: A 1 car garage is attached to the condo and fits SMALL COMPACT CARS ONLY! (SMALL GARAGE - DIMENSIONS: 14' LENGTH, 7'6" WIDTH, 6'5" HEIGHT). If you have an oversized vehicle, some guests are able to park in the garage by climbing out the rear and leaving the garage door open to make it fit. Street parking is available yet hard to find, but there is also a free overnight parking lot ~¼ mile away.



THE LOCATION: Mission Beach is the center of fun and activity out of all the San Diego beach communities. The boardwalk and beach are less than 100 steps away and is always bustling in the summertime. Belmont Park is an amusement park that features the Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster, mini golf, a zip line, rock climbing wall, ropes course, arcade and more - all located right around the corner!

UNIQUE BENEFITS: This condo has a private balcony off the living room with ocean views. The condo has expanded cable package from Time Warner Cable. Last but not least, there is a shared rooftop deck with spectacular panoramic views of the Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, La Jolla and Mission Bay.

Expect to have everything you would get if staying in a 5-star hotel, including shampoo, soaps, paper products, towels, and linens. Guest Access

You will be able to access the whole condo & private patio. The other half (East side of fence) of the outdoor patio is shared common space for the other 7 units in the building. There is also a shared rooftop deck you can access by disarming the security cameras with the provided key fob and door code.

Hi my name is Jeff and I have been a successful vacation rental property owner and manager since 2014. I have lived in San Diego my whole life and have been living in Mission Beach the last 13 years. I'm a local expert and have been working as a real estate agent at Rowling Realty, the family business, for nearly 13 years.

If you have any questions about anything during your stay, please let me know! I live close, and if I'm in town I can stop by and help with any issues that may arise. If I'm not around, I will send an associate property manager to help you with anything you may need.

  • Bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Policies

HOUSE RULES:
  • No smoking, parties, or events. Noise ordinance starts at 10pm.
  • Max Occupancy is 7 persons (No more than 7 guests in the unit at any given time).
  • Self check-in: Anytime after 3PM and check-out by 10AM
EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT: **PLEASE NOTE** Due to the nature of last-minute bookings and the cleaning schedule, EARLY CHECK-IN IS NOT AVAILABLE. However, you will be notified the morning of your arrival as soon as the unit is confirmed cleaned and ready for check-in. LATE CHECK-OUT IS NOT AVAILABLE as the cleaning service will arrive shortly after the 10am check-out time (usually by 10:30am) to prepare the condo for the next guests.

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY:

NOISE IS THE MOST SERIOUS ISSUE: First, we need to reiterate that this is NOT a party house. We have had complaints from the neighbors in the past about guests throwing parties or being loud late at night. This is simply not allowed. If your group is loud and disrespectful, I will get a call from the neighbors and you will be asked to leave, forfeiting your deposit. We take this very seriously and you should too. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at any time.

NOISE COMPLAINT FINE OF $300-$1000: Any formal noise complaint issued by neighbors or City Officers will result in a $300-$1000 fine deducted from the security deposit. Police have the right to fine guests up to $1,000 for first time noise complaints. Noise travels far at night.  PLEASE CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND BALCONY GLASS DOORS THROUGHOUT THE CONDO if you are playing music or talking loudly, and walk outside to assess your noise level. STRICT QUIET HOURS start at 9PM on weekdays and 10pm on weekends.

MAINTENANCE REQUESTS:

If anything needs immediate attention, please contact us and we will send someone to take a look at the issue and will try to resolve it within 24 hours of your request. We appreciate all your feedback on minor issues as well, and we will see to it they get fixed as soon as possible.

Island Court is the place to be in Mission Beach! It is the closest court to the main attraction of the area, Belmont Park, and is always bustling with vacation renters from all over. In close proximity to all the action, this area is located just one block North of the row of shops and restaurants (behind Sandbar) on Ventura Place. Being only 100 feet from the boardwalk & beach and right around the corner from everything else, this is the ideal vacation location in all of Mission Beach!
